Small business owners may have the freedom to control their schedules, be able to focus on work that they find fulfilling, and find opportunities to positively impact their communities. But in addition to benefits like these, small business management brings with it some unique challenges. Owners of small businesses often play many roles and must have a wide body of knowledge. In a single day, a small business owner may be required to do any number of varied tasks, like approve a project plan budget, train a new employee, and develop a marketing campaign. This certificate will provide students with a fundamental understanding of the most critical areas in small business management.

The PM Skills® PMSCP® certification includes 14 courses that are completely online and self-paced, which provides the most flexibility in completing the curriculum. No prerequisites are required for the PM Skills® courses, but it is recommended that you complete the Interpersonal Skills for Project Leaders course before beginning the others. The learner must complete all 14 courses before taking the PMSCP® certification exam. A course will be considered complete when the participant has done all assignments, exercises, review checkpoints, and has received at least a 70% on the course final exam. All PM Skills® courses carry Project Management Institute Professional Development Units (PDUs). PMSCP® Certification Exam Upon successful completion of the PM Skills® courses, students will be required to achieve a passing mark of 70% or higher on the PMSCP® exam. The exam consists of 200 questions covering material from the 14 PM Skills® courses.

The certificate consists of 8 courses that are online and self-paced, providing flexibility in completing the curriculum. No prerequisites are required to begin the courses. A course will be considered complete when the participant has done all assignments, exercises, review checkpoints, and has received at least a 70% on the course final exam. Students will have 12 months to complete all the courses in the certificate.

Guided by Shelley Winner's powerful personal story and delivered through 24 engaging video modules, participants will explore topics such as identity, mindset, purpose, perseverance, relationships, and making intentional choices. Whether overcoming incarceration, addiction, personal setbacks, or other barriers, the course equips learners with practical tools to rewrite their story and build a foundation for lasting success. Winner's Circle is delivered online and is self-paced, providing the flexibility to complete the curriculum on an individual schedule. No prerequisites are required. A course will be considered complete when the participant has viewed all 24 modules, completed all required activities and reflections, and achieved at least a 70% on the course assessment. Students will have 12 months to complete the course.
